Looking back, thúy's sold-out show at the House of Blues Anaheim back in February was a night to remember, with fans lining up hours before doors opened just to secure the perfect spot. The anticipation was high, and by the time the venue filled up, the energy in the room was undeniable. Excited voices echoed through the space as fans eagerly awaited the start of a night they knew would be unforgettable.

thúy is a Vietnamese-American singer-songwriter who has been making waves in the R&B and pop scene. Rising to fame through her viral hits and deeply personal lyrics, she has built a dedicated fanbase that continues to grow with each release. Her ability to blend smooth melodies with emotional storytelling has set her apart, making her one of the most exciting artists in the industry today.

Before thúy took the stage, ASTN kicked off the night, immediately setting the tone with his signature smooth vocals and laid-back energy. Performing songs like "next door" and teasing the crowd with an unreleased track, "am i too," he had the audience vibing from the start. His set was followed by a quick but energetic performance from DJ Cookbeats, keeping the momentum alive.

The moment everyone had been waiting for arrived. thúy stepped onto the stage and started the night with "hair down," a perfect opener that had the crowd instantly singing along. She kept the energy high, rolling into fan favorites like "you should feel special" and "obsessed," proving why she has captivated so many listeners worldwide. Midway through the show, the energy reached new heights as fans cheered loud enough to make the floor shake. Moved by the overwhelming support, thúy took a moment to express her gratitude, still in disbelief that she had sold out such an iconic venue. The night took a fun turn with "i got it," which sparked a friendly competition between the girls and boys in the crowd to see who could sing louder—Anaheim became the first stop where the girls won. As the show progressed, thúy slowed things down, creating a more intimate atmosphere with a heartfelt cover of SZA’s "Snooze." A special moment followed when she brought a fan on stage while performing "universe," closing out the first act of the night with an emotional connection between the artist and audience.

The second half of the show opened with "crash and burn" and "shy boy," setting the stage for a major surprise—ASTN returned to join thúy for their song, "Two Truths and A Lie." She continued the high-energy set with "cloud 11" and "D8" before turning the stage into a runway, inviting fans up for a catwalk competition during "roleplay." The playful moment had the entire crowd engaged, adding a personal and interactive element to the performance.

Before wrapping up, thúy took another moment to reflect on the significance of the night, sharing how proud she was to be one of the first Vietnamese-American artists to sell out multiple stops on her tour. She dedicated her song "wings" to those who have ever felt alone, a touching moment that had more than a few people wiping away tears.

As she left the stage, the crowd erupted into chants for an encore. thúy delivered, bringing out Blxst to perform "whatcha gotta say" before closing the night with her career-defining hit, "girls like me don’t cry." The entire venue sang along, creating a beautiful, unifying moment to end an already spectacular show.

With a performance this powerful, it’s clear that thúy is only just getting started. If this tour holds any indication, the future is looking incredibly bright for her, and we can't wait to see what she has in store next.
